ABOUT US

The studio is led by Interior Design Director Natalia Jurie Greig whose signature layers of sophistication are brought to life through an alluring juxtaposition of furniture, fittings, art, and accessories.

Principles of integrity, quality, and sustainability are the essence of her design choices, revealed through re-upholstered heirloom furniture, artisanal trims, statement embroideries, and handmade tiles- finishes that elevate the humble to the extraordinary.

NATALIA’S STORY

Natalia’s first exposure to the design industry was living and working in Sydney in the early 1990s attending Interior Design exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne. She worked as a design assistant to internationally renowned Interior Designer Jytte Prentice before developing her professional career, studying a Bachelor of Interior Design at Raffles Design Institute.

During her time living abroad, she spent several years working in hotel soft refurbishments.

Upon returning to Port Douglas in 2015 before acquiring Island Point Interiors, Natalia was engaged as Interior Designer with Gary Hunt at Hunt Design.

Natalia is quick to interpret a client’s individual style and adapts naturally to considering diverse views and tastes. She continues to collaborate closely with Hunt Design, recently working on the re-launch of The Whitsundays Daydream Island, Colonial Leisure Group’s Orpheus Island, and Cairns’ latest hotel developments, the Crystalbrook Collection.
